About RESET (RESET 2025 Successfully Completed)

Østfold University College hosted the first International Workshop on Research in Emerging Sustainable Engineering Technologies (RESET 2025) on 5–6 November 2025 at the Fredrikstad Campus.

Organised under the Erasmus+ Global KA171 partnership, RESET 2025 brought together researchers, students, Norwegian industry representatives, and international partners to explore solutions at the intersection of green energy, digitalisation, sustainable mobility, hydrogen technology, and engineering education.

​

The workshop connected Østfold University College in Norway, National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan, PSG College of Technology in India, industry partners, and contributors from other international universities.

Conference Highlights

International speakers and participants from Norway, Taiwan, India, Greece, and other countries

Active participation by Norwegian industry partners including Nexans, Step Solutions AS, Moicon, and Corning

Expert sessions on renewable energy integration, digital twins, hydrogen mobility, electrolyzers, advanced materials, and industrial digitalisation

Free registration and lunch for all registered participants

Development of future joint research, student mobility, and industry collaboration activities

Workshop Outcomes

Research collaboration opportunities were identified in green transport, advanced electrode materials, renewable-energy integration, and digital twins for sustainable production.

A student mobility programme was initiated, with international exchanges planned between Norway, Taiwan, and India.

New links were strengthened between academic institutions and Norwegian industry.

RESET was established as an ongoing platform for knowledge exchange and sustainable engineering innovation.

The initiative supports the transition toward carbon neutrality by combining Norwegian expertise, International collaboration and Industry insights
